Rebecca’s fashion studies, along with her experience working for one of Australia’s premier fashion designers, provided the basis for her styling career. Rebecca specialises in helping her clients to find the dress, suit or outfit that perfectly complements their body shape, complexion and personality. Her honesty and commitment ensure that the Bride and Groom will look and feel their absolute best on their big day.

Rebecca, together with the Wedding Oracle Team who consists of her two sisters Rachel Lay "The Wedding Oracle Hair specialist and Wedding Consultant" and Michelle Wells who creates unique and distinct invitations, RSVPs and Thank You services, will provide a quality, reliable and enjoyable service for their clients and their guests.

"Throughout my fashion studies I always wanted to work with Weddings and in the Fashion Industry. I then decided that I wanted to combine my passion for both Fashion and Bridal together, with my sisters' creative talents and my studies from all different fields I wanted to introduce a service that provided everything from the invites to the hair styling, to the make- up and the honeymoon. I guess that I am very lucky to have both my sisters working with me who have the same vision as I do and thrive on making people happy. The Wedding Oracle Services.

Rebecca’s services extend beyond finding the right dress. If required, she’ll be with the Bride from the first dress-hunting excursion, through each fitting and at her hair and make-up consultations. Rebecca is also available to select bridesmaid’s dresses that complement each other as well as the bridesmaid’s individual body shape, and to find an impeccable-fitting suit for the Groom. She’ll even coach the bridal party on wedding day etiquette – including the art of elegantly exiting a limousine, how to walk up stairs in heels and how to sit in your dress – no matter how tight the corset may be!

What does the Fashion/Wedding Oracle do?

Firstly, Rebecca will consult the Bride in taking her measurements and working out her body image.

She then takes the Bride out on her own shopping day to show her all the different styles of dresses that suit her body shape and her colouring.

Why?

Rebecca likes to have a one on one with the Bride so that we focus on her; after all it is all about her! As a qualified image consultant and a natural, “I want full focus on the Bride without interference or unqualified opinions from family members or bridesmaids which can confuse a Bride-to-be and cause self doubt. Once the Bride feels and looks beautiful in her chosen gown, we have achieved the most important goal and we move on to Bridesmaids.”

Rebecca then arrange a second trip for the Bridesmaids where they are measured and have colour analysis prior to shopping, the Bride will be more relaxed and can focus her attention on the Bridesmaids.

Rebecca also provides these services to the Groom and Groomsmen and the parents of the Bride and Groom.

Rebecca loves a wedding, and is more than happy to attend on the big day to ensure the wedding party look and feel great before and throughout the ceremony and photo shoot. Rebecca will be there to fix any fashion emergencies and touch up makeup, and her keen eye for detail will be invaluable as she works with your photographer to make sure your photos flawlessly capture the wedding day.
